Any help would be much appreciated thanks!Why does User Acount Control on my Vista pop up when i open a new internet page?
Turn it off. Google ';turn off user account control';

It's arguably the worst part of Vista. Pain in the neck. It's part of Vista security but Vista has better security so they actually could have left it out.Why does User Acount Control on my Vista pop up when i open a new internet page?
Something on the webpage is trying to access your system and Windows User Account Control is blocking it. This may or may not be a good thing. I would scan your computer for spyware and/or viruses to be sure that you're not infected. Once you are sure your computer is clean you can try a couple of things. Click the Start (round circle, lower left corner) and in the Start Search box type IEXPLORE.EXE. The system will search and find it and display it at the top of the search results box. Right click on it and select Run As Administrator from the popup dialog. Generally this is a bad idea, but I suspect that the website is attempting to install something or upgrade flash, etc., and User Account Control (UAC) is blocking it. Visit the web page and see what its trying to do and respond accordingly.

Close IEXPLORE and go back to running it the usual way.

You can disable UAC by going to Start %26gt;%26gt; Run %26gt;%26gt; MSConfig

Click the Tools tab and find Disable UAC in the list below. Left click on it and click the Launch button. An MSDOS window will open, just type EXIT to close it, and then close msconfig and reboot. Upon reboot UAC will be disabled.
if you dont want that to pop up click on your icon in the start menu and click on ';change user account control settings'; or something similiar...
