good topic, have you thought about 'deviance' as way to assess gang functioning. Look at their conformity and deviance within the gang and compared to general society. You could also look into Social control mechanisms, comparing a gang and a social club or group * like a football team for example. good luck

In Word 2002 I have lost a menu item - FILE>PRINT, so I can't control the pages that I print?
I use this menu item for printing of booklets. I also use it to print on both sides of the page.
I have tried to fix the problem by using the original disk and choosing the FIX item. But it does not make the FILE %26gt; PRINT item return. I have NOT tried to remove the program and re-install. This item does not work on OLD documents that I have used it on before, or on new documents that I have just started. Can you help me fix my problem? How are retail website stores with tones of items created, that when someone requests a certain criteria, all the products that qualify would pop up on a page... or more then one page...and the visitor has full control how many items should appear on one page with the click of a button, or perhaps view all items on one page with a view all button?
Can this be done with basic HTML tables or/and CSS? if not what do i need to learn to be able to create such pages?

HTML is the language the specifies what appears on a page. You need to learn some server side scripting languages if you want to make an online store. PHP is a great, but simple server side language that you can learn. http://php.net/

I use the internet web sites to read Yahoo! group posts (Browser=IE6.0.2800.1106IS). Many of these posts are 252(or similar) characters wide before they word=wrap to a new line. I would like to limit the width of the page to force word-wraping sooner (say at 80 characters), so I do not have to slide sideways to view the end of the sentences (paragraphs really). Help using CSS to control the layout of a HTML page.?
I am just beginning to learn HTML and thought it would be neat to use a CSS page to control the layout, font, backgroung and text color. The HTML page will be three columns, right/left columns will be a solid color background, the center will use a jpg image for its background. The center column will contain a generic ';comment'; form using tables unless there is a way to allow CSS to do that too (that may be too hard though). I need to know what to put on the HTML page to make it connect to the CSS page called ';styles.css';, and exactly where to place it. I think this will be a nice touch to the basic page and help me understand the power of CSS. Can anyone show me what the code will look like? If you have any better ideas let me know. CSS is definetly the best way to format text. It's so much easier, as everything is in one file. You can put ';style.css'; anywhere, you just have to refer to it in your code... usualy easiest to put it in the same place as the pages and refer to it locally. CSS is definetly the best way to format text. It's so much easier, as everything is in one file. You can put ';style.css'; anywhere, you just have to refer to it in your code... usualy easiest to put it in the same place as the pages and refer to it locally. When I open ';Control Panel'; in WinME there are no icons--blank page?
Some versions of Windows hide all the stuff you want to see. In 98 when you opened the Windows directory, you had to tell it every time you want to view this. By blank page, do you mean there is absolutely nothing there, or is there some instructions on the left how to make it visible.

Use a pop up blocker
Go to internet explorer home page, click tools at top of page, then internet options, then privacy tab, then sites, you can add there name, then block it.
This should stop it.
Also you should have only 1 pop up blocker running. ie pop up blocker is excellent because you can change how it monitors the sights, medium, low or high. While you are there you can activate it.

Well, this problem has three parts to it. First of all, you've somehow gotten ahold of a spyware. First of all, go to Tools in the toolbar of your Internet Explorer, click on Internet Options, and then you should see where you change your homepage.

C#, Accessing page control properties from within a class?
Hello, I've got four different pages all repeating the same function of code, in-line, to query a database. I've moved this code into one method in a new class file, under the company namespace. This all works fine!
However, even though I have specified the class as such:
public class className : System.Web.UI.Page
I cannot access the controls, such a label from the class itself. Please could someone help me? I need to access these controls, inherit if you will, without using the codebehind option.

As mine did this, was because of hair %26amp; dirt caught in it.
I'm not saying you should do this but I just cleaned mine with a Q tip.
Work like a charm now.

People need to clean all their mouses because of the oils off their hands and the environment which they may live. Unplug the mouse from your tower and inspect it for grime. Take a q-tip and clean it out. Best way to prevent grime on the mouse is to wash the hands before using it.
Although you can try cleaning your mouse, I found that it is better to switch to a wireless optical mouse. You can pick a good one up for under $30

How do I get the home page to appear for Control Panel Windows Vista? ?
When I open the Control Panel, the home page does not appear. On the left side, there is only Classic View. How do I get the home page to appear for Control Panel Windows Vista? ?
Not sure what version of Vista you are running but I'll try and help.
This is a known problem...
Open notepad and write the following:
net stop readyboost
net stop slsvc
net start slsvc
net start readyboost
@cls
Save the file as something.bat
This will stop ReadyBoost first (which depends on SLSvc), then SLSvc, then restarts both in opposite order, then it will close the command window. It needs to be run as administrator. If you need to work with the Notification service, too, for some reason, just add net stop/start SLUINotify in the appropriate places.
';Switch to Category View'; option is missing in the Control Panel Common Tasks
When you open Control Panel, the option Switch to Category View option and the section box may not be present. This happens if the ForceClassicControlPanel policy is enabled in the registry or via Group Policy.
If ForceClassicControlPanel is set to 0, Switch to Classic View is unavailable
If ForceClassicControlPanel is set to 1, Switch to Category View is unavailable
To get back the option, follow these steps:
* Click Start/Run and type REGEDIT
* Navigate to the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \Windows
CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer
* Backup the registry key to a REG file. See here for more information.
* In the right-pane, delete ForceClassicControlPanel (if exists)
* Repeat the same in the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer
* Close Registry Editor and restart Windows

When I go into my uninstall programme page in the control panel in vista I cant organise them by date anymore?
I used to be able to sort the programmes by date or size or name through the toolbar at the top. Now I only have the name option. This happened before Im sure but it fixed itself next time I went in. It isnt fixing this time. By date, I assume you mean the date last used on?
Right click on the column headings and select more.
Check 'Last Used On'

wait till they all load up, then you can usually click the name/date/size thing to organise them.

Can multiple people have control of a fan page on facebook?

Yes. You can make people 'Admins' and 'Officers'.
鈥?Admins have control over everything on the page.
鈥?Officers are like moderators. So they can only create events, and delete posts. They cant make any Big Changes.

From there you can make admins, and if you click on a tab on the same page, you can make people officers

Try this, press alt +prnt scrn at the same time then open paint go to edit paste, then the picture should come up you dont have to highlight the whole page then go to file save as type the filename you want. its not gonna make the copy paste light does not light up. thats what i do it works.
