My computer says '; click to run active control on this page'; and then freezes.can i possibly turn activeX off?

I must tell you that this may cause some content not to run in on a page. You really should check the browser site to see if they have any fixes for this problem. If you still want to disable the active-x then here's how-

To disable active-x control go to Tools-%26gt;Internet Options-%26gt;Security tab and click custom level. Scroll down until you see Run Active-X and Plugins then click disable. Click OK, Apply and then OK again. Close and reopen your browser and see if it solves your problem if it doesn't just reverse the process and enable. My computer says '; click to run active control on this page'; and then freezes.can i possibly turn activeX off?
If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.

Yes, you can turn ActiveX off.

If you are using IE, just go up to Tools%26gt;Internet Options%26gt;Security%26gt;Internet%26gt;Choose Custom Level

From there you will be able to disable ActiveX.

Good luck!
