How can I reset IE so that I control choice of my home page instead of Yahoo?

1. Open IE


2. Click on ';Tools';


3. Click on ';Internet Options';


4. Under the ';General'; tab, in the ';Homepage'; section,


type in the homepage you want (e.g. enter ';www.google.com'; to set your homepage to google)





If you'd like to have just a blank page, type ';about:blank';


(no quotes)

Go to Control Panels, Select Internet Options, Write your desired home page and apply. That's all.
Go to ';Tools';


Click on ';Internet Explorers';


Make sure you are in the ';General'; tab and where is says Home Page on the top is says ADDRESS. You can type in the address that you want.
click on tools, go to internet options, under the general tab type in your new home page
right click the ';e'; on your desktop %26amp; change the home page from there
Get into Internet Explorer and click tools %26gt;%26gt; Internet options, the first textfield represents what you want your home page to be. Change that, click apply and you're all set =)
just go to the ';tools'; button at the top of your page, select ';internet options';. On the screen that pops up you can type in whatever homepage you want to come up. Then select ';apply'; and youre all set.

If you don't understand, the IE help screen is basic enough.


Click Help on the menu line at the top of the IE window, choose ';Contents and Index';.


Then select the tab labelled ';Index';.


Next, enter the words ';home page'; as the keyword to find.


The list will show underneath that, with the subheading ';changing';.





Click on the word ';changing'; and the instructions will show in the other part of the window. Easy.





Before you change the home page, make sure that IE is showing the one you want to make your home page.


Then, it's a simple matter of choosing ';Use Current', as the help says.





It doesn't have to be a web page on the internet. You can design your own web page and store it on your computer's hard disk, and use that. It'll always be there even when you aren't online.
