I have to write a paper (14 pages) on some kind of criminology theory, i was thinking on social control theory

Why not do some sort of angle on fines as a way to force compliance with a law (such as driving without insurance), and discuss the fact that if someone does not have money for insurance, how do they come up with the money after being fined?

good topic, have you thought about 'deviance' as way to assess gang functioning. Look at their conformity and deviance within the gang and compared to general society. You could also look into Social control mechanisms, comparing a gang and a social club or group * like a football team for example. good luck
if you are doing gangs... what about peer association. that is not what it's called. i forget what it is acutally called. but do the bit about what you do is dependent upon who you hang around with.

You can try a system restore. Go to start in your tray, open accessories, open system tools, and open system restore and look for a date prior to this incident, where you can perform a system restore. This will get you back to your last good configuration.

In Word 2002 I have lost a menu item - FILE>PRINT, so I can't control the pages that I print?

I use this menu item for printing of booklets. I also use it to print on both sides of the page.


I have tried to fix the problem by using the original disk and choosing the FIX item. But it does not make the FILE %26gt; PRINT item return. I have NOT tried to remove the program and re-install. This item does not work on OLD documents that I have used it on before, or on new documents that I have just started. Can you help me fix my problem? Click the arrow at the bottom of the menu; it should appear.


If it does not, do the following:





- Right click on any toolbar and click customize.


- Click the commands tab


- Click the File menu on the Menu bar


- In the dialog box, click on File in the right pane.


- Drag Print... from the left pane to any desired location on the file menu you opened previously.

have you clicked the arrow at the bottom of the file menu to pull up seldom used items. If that does not work try using Control P
You can press CTRL+P and it should do the same thing.
Is just hidden? are you seeing a down arrow at the bottom of the menu, if so, mouse over it and it should re-appear.





As an alternative use Ctrl + p as it's calls the print dialog box too, where the toolbar one just prints to the default printer.

your pages all need to have the control, it's a small bugger but still a bugger ;) and 2. your controls shift in the control tree, at runtime they no longer belong to the Page itself, but to the added control. For some (like me) this might be bugging and even interfere with working code.

Cant connect to the internet because of active X controls running in every web page.?

Please help me. I am using I.E. and every time I click the icon of i.e. the display says that Your current security settings prohibit running active X controls on this page. As a result the page may not be displayed correctly.Anyone? I already checked on the Tools, Internet Options but the page still displayed the same. Also there's no manage add-on near on the info tab. Lately we've been having major computer problems...Like we could use comcast's homepage but when we try other search engines it just doesn't load...and then we get pop-ups for like gunggo or something...we've tried spybot and hijakthis....it just temporarily knocks it out....can you help me? How to permanently get rid of it?
