If you are using IE and in the administrator's account, follow these steps to enable Active X.
- Select Tools, then Internet Options from the menu at the top of the Internet Explorer window. The Internet Options window will appear.
- Select Security from the list of tabs at the top of the Internet Options window. The Security tab will appear.
- Select the Custom Level button. The Security Settings window will appear.
- Scroll down to the Download signed ActiveX controls entry and select the appropriate radio button.
- Scroll down to the Run ActiveX controls and plugins entry and select the enabled radio button.
- Select the OK button to accept the changes
You may need to reboot for the settings to stick.
However, you should be forewarned that Active X is susceptible to malware and there are many sites that have malicious Active X controls so to automatically accept is not recommended. Best to stay with the prompts. On XP IE, when i browse at a page, sometimes it says 'Click to run ActiveX control on this page'...?
Dear friend
Go to tools%26gt;%26gt; internet options %26gt;%26gt;Security Tab. Under security tab you will find a option for advanced tab. under advanced tab you will find all activex control. You can enable or disable as per your choice. for more help on activex controls visit:

I would not allow it run all the time, if you hit a website that is not trusted and you allow it to run all the time you will pick up adware, spyware, viruses. All these can hide themselves in active x controls.
Take my advice, leave it on.
